Parasitic Snails

Hey, I've read about little parasitic snails that hitch hike on other desired snails. I've got a batch of Astrea snails in quarantine at the moment, when the time comes to move them to the DT I'll give them a good visual inspection before moving but I'm wondering how obvious these parasitic snails will be? Is it something that'll be visible to a good eye? Are they to be found only on the outside of the shell or can they be hiding out of sight on the inner area of a retracted snail?

You should watch while they are roaming around the glass to ensure there no snails around the fleshy part.
