From what I've heard, most worms are ok and even help keep things cleaned up. I think some people go a little nuts going after bristleworms, but then I don't have any fancy corals yet to protect!
we are not talking about true "worms" as in bristle worms or tube worms or peanut worms etc....
what are called "flatworms" are more like a kind of paper thin "slug"
not techicaly true but I think that gets the idea.
they are very thin, some are scavengers, some are predators.
but the scavengers create problkems as like hair-alge they will cover sand and rock and out-compete other stuff.
when they are high in numbers they can nuke a tank if they die.
like some cucumbers they have a toxic body fluid that when they die is released into the water.
