I just wanted to share my pics of my long awaited part 2 of my 75 gallon tbs package, I just got my part 2 on 7/2 and got lots of extra goodies as you can see :lolspin: besides my package I got the following, trying not to forget anything but Richard included so much I just couldn't believe my eyes when I open that treasure chest aka shipping box:
  • tiger goby(wasn't a hitchhiker he was in a bag)
  • conch fish
  • flame scallop
  • orange snail
  • porcelain crab
  • red and orange tree sponge
  • 2 small orange sponges
  • purple gongorian
  • a beautiful red sponge
  • yellow rock flower anemone
  • several hard corals
  • the huge rock in the center

sorry the pics aren't better, the water hadn't cleared up when I took the pics and unfortunately I don't have a real high quality camera. this isn't the final arrangement on the rock, I like the middle but I have to arrange the sides now. I have been so impressed with dealing with Richard, he goes above and beyond the call of duty..I am having some problems with ammonia levels but that will pass soon and Richard is there..tbs doesn't stop once the delivery is sent that's for sure. he truly cares about his customers and the tanks he fills. I sent him a pic of my 135 gallon tank after part 1 never imagining the surprise I would have in store. I wanted a bigger package but all I could afford is the 75 gallon package. Much to my surprise shipment day he called and told me he had a surprise for me and that he included a centerpiece for me, well it is about a 75 lb centerpiece and is absolutely gorgeous. you can clearly see it in the pics, it has several hard corals on it and a purple gongorian on it. I cant thank Richard enough for bringing the ocean to my home!

:D Very Good .... glad to see the pics up here ... you'll probably play with the rock for a while .. just sit back at each re-do and wait a little ... had a AMO spike also, but couple of water changes, time, and definitely daily skimmer cleaning brought it down pretty quick. Give it a couple of weeks and the whole terrain will change (for the better) ... that's the amazing/fun part :celeb1: Something new every time you pass the glass. Have fun:rollface:

the first picture is actually after part 1, as you can see it was ready for all the new goodies that awaited in part 2. all the rock is so nice it makes it hard to decide what to put where. Now that is the kind of problem i can handle. :p you dont want to cover anything up but alas that will just come with the tweaking i guess.. i can't wait to see what all goodies will come out in time. there is no doubt tbs is the best you can get, i have had other live rock in the past but it is just that- rock. you dont get the corals and plants that are on tbs, you certainly dont get the critters :D.. before i ordered i was wondering if it would be worth hunting the gorilla crabs and mantis shrimps etc, after getting part 2 i welcome the challenge it is more than worth it for the quality or rock you get! once the water clears i will try to post some clearer pics

Wow-za! tangafish! Your setup is looking great!

Can't wait 'til next Friday when I get my 2nd part! Part 1 so far has completely exceeded my expectations....I'm having a hard time imagining what part 2 will be like!!!

I really, really wish I could have afforded a bigger tank! I can tell, thanks to TBS, that I'm hooked for life!

Please keep us posted with pics and updates, tangafish!

will do moseynme. The anticipation is killer when you are waiting for part 2, I know it was for me. It will be well worth the wait. My part 2 was better than i could have ever imagine, i was giddy, you would have thought i was drunk

hardest thing about reef tanks is they are never big enough  i just upgraded from a 46 gallon bowfront that is packed to the gills...parden the pun. when i bought my 135 I was able to get a good deal on it. i thought it would be plenty big but now i wished i could have gotten a 180. you can always get you a bigger tank later. I have ran out of room in my house for tanks, looks like it is time for a bigger house..

post us some pics when you get all your stuff in cant wait to see what goodies richard has in store for you. :eek1:

Wow Richard goes on vacation and comes back with gusto!

Tanga, looks like you've got a good set up going. If you don't add fish right away, and keep the flow good on that gorgonian, you can frag it easy, and on your way to a decent reef with no extra expense. Good luck, keep us posted when the water clears :)
