Picked up my "Part I" TBS shipment!
The plane left florida around 12:30 and landed around 1:30 in Houston. I was putting boxes in my car by 3pm.
Looking down into 4 layers of heavy duty plastic. Rock AND water. One of the great things about TBS's shipping.
Here's a closer look.
Richard purposely sent rock not quite as populated with life as he did on the first round for my big cube because the nano's are harder to cycle. Next round should be covered in more good stuff.
Here's the sand, straight from the bottom of the Gulf. Lots of varied sized granules.
Here's the smallest piece of rock in this shipment.
Whatta ya think, Wally? Smell any die-off, or is it good to go straight in the tank?
Wally said it was good to go.
Escargot, buddy?
That's it for now.... waiting for the water to clear before i show a shot of the tank. And.... Richard even sent me a color replenisher for my big cube! How freakin awesome is that?!?!
