Partial Mantle Recession...HELP

I just got three maximas and two of them are starting to show some weird symptoms.

I have kept clams before (these are the only three in this tank) so I know what a clam looks like when it is dying.

On two of the clams, they are showing only partial recession. I don't know how to explain it but out of the five-six "flaps" that normally come out on each side, two are completely gone, receeded into the shell, yet the rest of the clam is completely healthy.

I am thinking predation, but what? I don't have anything I can see out of the ordinary. One blue tang, two perculas, turbo snails and hermits.

Is there some sort of parasite that may be doing this? The clams are located in the sand.
