Anyone know where I can find parts for a Gen-x PC 40 external pump? I could t come up with any results on Google and I understand Pacific Coast imports are no longer in buisness. I would just hate to hook this up to my plumbing and it go out on me. The fan is all rusted but the pump runs.

I replaced the bearings on both of mine last year. If you replace them just be careful how you tap them on. It took me a couple to get some quiet ones. I was tapping them on with a rubber hammer and even though the bearings felt good afterward, they still made a racket. I ended up tapping them on with a deep well socket and got good results. The bearings are like $1 or 2 on ebay get several extra and replace the bearings while you have the pumps down. The investment will be well worth, it in a longer running pump.

I didn't even think about changing the bearings. could you point me in the right direction what bearings I would need? Thanks everyone.

They should be a 6200ZZ bearing. Had to look them up from last year...lol. They are cheap , so get a few extra. You might make a couple of the bearings loud installing them. I know I did.

Well the bearings I found thanks to vapor1. Now I just need to find the fan. If it's entirely rusted is it a good idea to replace? I took it to my lfs to see if they had any parts and they didn't. So the guy plugs the pump in and dry runs it for a second and says well it works. And he said the fan was just from saltwater. Well dua but should I run it like this?

the fan is fine to run if it's rusted, I have had a few pumps like that, it causes no problems. if you want you can wire brush the rust off and repaint the fan though
