Is it possible to buy new bearings and a new tank side end cap for the dryside?

My dryside is making some noise, and it's a combination of the bearings and the magnet rubbing on the endcap.

Or, is it more cost effective to just buy a new dryside complete?

Thanks,

Steve

I would give Ecotech a call and pose the question to them. Their customer service is great. However, if it were me I would just replace the whole pump.

I replaced the bearings this morning, and it's silent again. Very easy process, and the bearings cost me $13 for the pair.

But the endcap seems to be concave a bit towards the magnet, so it's rubbing a little.
I need to get a new endcap to end the rubbing noise, then it will be perfect again.

I sent Ecotech an email, hopefully get a reply soon.

I'd like to buy a new house and the endcap...........then it will be like new again.

We will respond to your email ASAP. That said, we do not sell any parts for the drysides of our VorTech pumps.

Well you should.

Why spend $106 on a complete dryside when all that is needed is a housing and endcap.

If something is out of warranty, why not repair it instead of replacing it.
