Passer Angel with white..not ich

I got a new Passer Angel about a week ago and theres white clumpy stuff on her fins and some spots on her side. it does NOT look like ich at all, as ich is much smaller grains of white. I can try and get some pics of her, but any ideas? Would copper help? Bacterial infection maybe?

sounds like viral lymphocyctis. Nothing to worry about, nothing to treat.

sounds like lympho sometimes if your params and tank condition are good the fish will generalyy recover it is normally caused by extreme caases of stress like poor water harasment shipping and handeling of the fish that kinda stuff there isnt really a goog cure is the fish is really bad i would say to scrape the lumps of him but this would be a last resort as this will greatly stress the fish out i have also noticed that strangely the majority of angels caught in the atlantic usually develope this viral disease good luck and keep stress to a minimum if this case gets worse the fish will more than likely die so yes it is something to worry about quick cure claims to cure it in a week but i have never had luck with any meds and this disease

he eats great and is a strong hardy fish...my water params are perfect from what i know but i will keep checking up to ensure..what is the virus exactly?? parasites??

no its a viral infectiom its a virus

glad to say shes doing ALOT better! it was all over her fins and now i can barely find a few spots of it..

Good to hear that he's recovered. Lymph is rarely lethal, but is very annoying and slightly contagious
