Passer Angel
I have a 6x3x3 fowlr system current inhabitants are

1 adult emporor Angel
1 coral beauty
1 black back butterfly
1 yellow tang
1 chocolate tang
1 bristle tooth tang
1 regal tang
1 clown wrasse
1 leopard wrasse
1 cleaner wrasse
2 orange / white clowns
2 orange / black clowns
2 blue spotted bennies
Big sand sifter starfish
Big blue star fish
2 fire fish

Would I be overloading the tank with a adult passer angel ? My emperor is a grumpy adult, I have been looking for a large angel that he won't bully or harass to death.

Suggestions or opinions most welcome, total system size is 500 gallons.
Have about 650 Lbs of live rock

do you have an acclimation box?

After quarantine I was going to do a tank divide, leave enough space for the smaller fish to travel beneath it, and slowly grow the area u too the emporor is in the smaller part, then remove the divide, move the live rocks about and turn the lights off for 24 hours .

Otherwise I thought about popping the emperor into quarentine tank for a week, and then add them both together.

Thoughts ?

I wouldn't add another large angel of a different species - all you get is war.
Also removing the old fish for a week (a month or even a year) won't do it. He will instantly recognize his old territory and be the boss again. For that idea to work you would need to tear down your rock scape and rebuild it in a quite different way.

Do you know if your emperor is a male or female? If it's a female you could try adding a larger male. If it's a male you could try adding a juvenile.
