PBTA 911

Hi All,
This is probably a dumb noob question. Never had a BTA before the past 3 days. He settled in just fine after 4 hour drip acclimation. Normal puffed out is around 4" to 5". Was fed a Brine Shrim p on Sat and another today. Pulled them right in. Well the trouble started about 40 minutes ago, He still has great color, but is all deflated, pulled in to just the tips sticking about 3/4" out of the foot/mouth.

I have read every thing I could on these guys but did not see anything on this behavior. Normal/sick/or toast?

Ok,
I changed the display on the thread to show last 100 days and found some info. Sounds like part of th enormal process, scares the hell out of you though, as everything I read did not mention this little quirk, might save all us newbies a bit of a scare.

Live and learn

yea.. its pretty normal...

anemones can deflate like that to expel waste, or to even do an internal "water change....

as long as the mouth looks good id venture to say itll be fine... give it a little while to make himself happy...

Hay Matt,
The inflation watch has begun, I must be glancing over at the tank every 5 minutes or so while watching the news. Like watching grass grow...... only I hope with a better out come, grass I have to mow
