PC Ballast question

I have got a 96WPC ballast. I was wandering if I can run (2) 36W bulbs off this ballast by running them parallel.

I'll have to go back into my basic engineering book's, but from what I remember I would not do it until you know the capacitance of the bulbs.

After quick look up (in old books), I would say it's not worth the risk. JMTCW
I would say a definite answer can only come from the ballast mfg, try getting in touch with them. Their info should be on the ballast.

is the ballast electronic? if it is, you can run anything up to a 96w on it.
