Does anyone know where i could find a 48" 4 bulb T5 fixture with individual reflectors, or would i have to buy them seperately and install them? I'm looking to go a 55Gal softies reef tank and i believe that T5's will be the way to go. Any opinions?????

Thatpetplace.com has NOVA's 4x54w or 8x54w 48" lights.

But I would hold off as they do not currently have individual reflectors. Apparently from reading another thread they are supposed to be coming out with individual reflector units next month.

Of course, I am still trying to find the cheapest 24" T-5 unit made (that isn't going to burn my house down). So if anyone needds fuge lights (PC) let me know I still have a couple units to sell off, or trade off.

Get Something that has individual reflectors. You guys kind of missed the whole point of the t5 concept. Individual reflector+good bulb=BRIGHT, EVEN LIGHT DISTRIBUTION. Look up SunLightSupply or ATI or IceCap but make sure they have individual reflectors for EACH bulb.

I don't think I missed the point - I agree that individual reflectors are a must. I was saying to hold off on the Nova Extremes because they are supposedly coming out with units w/ individual reflectors.

All the other brands just seem to be incredibly expensive.

I was just going through the same situation most of you guys are and i found quite a few tek t5 fixtures on ebay at what I thought were very reasonable prices but with no bulbs check aqua cave i like them reef geek is great too

Thanx for the info, where did u hear about the nova new upgrade cdangel0? i was actually looking at that website and that same setup.
