Your best bet would probably be to offer it up as a trade for a Seio. Or maybe offer a few decent size frags for $20-30.

Asking what zoanthids are worth can cause alot of debate here.
I just bought a colony of those exact (I'm reasonbly sure) polyps for $23 yesterday and it is about the size of a baseball..
I wouldn't have paid much more, but someone else might.

I'd pick a pump you think would help your tank and go over to the trading forum and ask for a trade see what happens.
I agree with the macro shot. Sometimes that really brings out hidden treasures.

the going rate per polyp... well, if you spent 50 dollars and there are 100 polyps then why would you be selling them for any more then 50 cents per polyp? oh, wait... to make money like everyone else who's doing it.
sorry dude, i have no issues with buying something and trading it or even fragging it to break even, but to outright buy it to sell and make money is wrong in my opinion.

Cook, not all polythoa are from the Pacific, we have polythoa and zoanthis, right here in Florida waters. Very similar to yours in fact. If yours are purple(they look a little purple,) they will be worth more than brown or grey ones. The brighter ones always are the best sellers. Some people just have to have the newest things out, then in a year, everyone will have them. If you do trade or sell, ask for a reasonable amount, but dont sell your self short. They look good from here. Steve.

IMO, those are the early stages of the green stardust PE's. I have seen the morph cahnges may times. They start looking like that or with even less color. Then the whitish/pastel pink ring comes in around the skirt and the center fills in with neon green. Then, if you're lucky, they will develop the speckles, like what people are calling Desert Foxes. Those would be some that I might buy and know I had to give some better conditions to to get them to turn into the correct colors. It doesn't happen over night, but they have potential. Below is the chronologic color changes I've witnessed.
Before-these don't even have the pink rings... I have a better shot with those that do have a whitish/pinkish ring. I'll hunt it down, too

Desert Fox if you can see through the Bryopsis (started the same as the others, but went further with the speckles-some of mine that are the same at one stage don't go on to this).
