Peacock and P. ciliata in San Diego

Octopuss' Garden (yes it's spelled that way) has a lively male peacock (perhaps 5") and a yellow P. ciliata.

They are active but unhappy in their little cube enclosures without cover. They need good homes.

Don't know if they ship.

Perhaps I will swing by and get it. I bought the XL female that they had in a few weeks ago. Will they go after each other? Perhaps a tank separator?

They would definately need to be seperated, as mantis generally don't coexist with each other very well. Only a few species form pairs the rest just shack up for a few days then go back to being solitary.

will a perforated Plexiglas divider work? They would still be able to see each other. Would they just beat the hell out of the divider non-stop trying t attach eachother?

I have a 100g tank with a 7" O. and domino damsel in it...plenty of room.

That should work. Just make sure it fits tightly against the tank walls and the holes are on the small side. You wouldn't want one going around your barrier or through it.
