Peacock Mantis & Anemone

I have heard that corals are okay with the Peacock Mantis, but how about BTA or LTA? If BTA or LTA are okay...could I not then add a small Clown fish as they will have the anemone to hide?

I would say that the clown is more of a risk, but two of my mantises live with anemones and don't pay any attention to them.

I bought a rose and hosting clown together and put in my 2.5 with my mantis. The clown lasted about 14 hours, the rose is still doing fine.

I'd say you could keep the (the peacock and the RBTA) in a 30g but the 12g doesn't leave much elbowroom.

Rose's get BIG (12" plus across) and they grow FAST (mine grew 1" a month!) so it's going to quickly outgrow a cube. I don't know why ppl think BTAs are good for nano reefs...anemones aren't good in reefs period! Completely unnatural to mix mobile cnidarians with sessiles...

I just picked up 2 pink tipped anemones from the LFS (freebies, as they were in the 'liverock' section, along with the 5 lettuce nudis that the LFS let me keep as well.

I put one in with my G. Platysoma, who is in a molt, and will discover the BTA upon his coming out.

I also put one in with my female G. Ternatensis...who attacked it fiercely.

(a) whenattacked, do they release any sort of toxin, or when wounded, for that matter.

(b) Are they a danger to my mantis?
From the looks of things, the mantis has the upper hand...er, dactyl.

I have moved that second one to a little kritter -keeper with a hig flow filter, which it seems to like.
