Peacocks in glass tanks?

Just curious how many of you keep peacocks or other large mantis(plural?) in glass tanks. Was thinking of keeping one in my 35 gallon refugium.

I have a 5" male in my 20L. He's been fine for months. I give him lot's of rock and rubble to build with and keep him well fed. He's very happy and has yet to smack the glass. I understand there is a possibility of glass damage but I'm not concerned with this one. I think tank breakage incidents are few. Also, the bigger the tank the thicker the glass. When this guy reaches 7" or more I'll move him to a bigger/thicker tank.

I have a 28 gallon and have personally seen him repeatedly smack the glass. No breaks. But when he does get bigger I will be looking into a larger tank.

it all depends on your mantis mine will smack the glass as soon as I put my finger on it. It's like she's saying "This is mine!" Very funny but has't cracked the glass yet. BUT when she gets bigger I'm moving her to a much larger 1/2" glass tank
