Peanuts!!!

So just received my first order of things needed for my 40b mixed reef. Had to work all day and couldn't wait to get home once I received the package delivered notification. Came home and went to town like a little kid on Christmas morning!! Clearly BRS has a peanut fetish! Out of 4 boxes (2 big and 2 small) I filled 2 garbage bags full of them!!

Reef Octopus NWB 110 Skimmer
BRS 4-Stage Value Plus RO/DI Unit

Still waiting on my overflow kit and my lights.
Speaking of lights, I have a question. I purchased the 6 bulb setup from Aquatic Life. Now I can't hang this from my ceiling because I have drop-ceiling and I rent and don't want to risk damage. Would this be an issue to just put it on the legs that come with it or does anyone out there have a suggestion on a way to hang this ??? And how high off the tank should this be?? I have a 40breeder so the tank is roughly 16" tall

I've got old plaster walls here and they don't hold heavy things worth a sh*t. I seen a build on here where someone had 2 metal rods he installed on the back of the stand and they kinda arched over the tank. Can't find the build or anything like that at Loews or Home Depot yet. I'm just concerned with burning corals if it sits on those brackets so I gotta rig something up.

I have the 4 stage value plus unit its awesome man. So many features at a great price. I couldn't live without that in line TDS meter.

That would have been my next suggestion. It would take a little elbow grease, but you could use some 1/2' aluminum pipe and hand bend it. It would be fairly easy if you bent it around something like a telephone pole to get a full 180 degree arc or you could use something smaller (street sign pole)to bend it into a 90 degree.

That's exactly what I was looking for! Thanks caddie!! Price is a little crazy but if I can't figure something out they will work

Lol yeah kinda made me cringe. I mean if that's what if I have to pay then so be it but I'm gunna run to Home Depot Sunday and see if I can make something myself first

Was just reading a few things. I could just get like 2" thick aluminum flat bar and heat it and do a 90 degree bend on it. Then just drill some holes to mount it to my stand and a hole toward the end of the bend to hang the light from. I just don't know if it's necessary to hang this unit yet. Waiting for replays in the lighting thread.

Put the peanuts in your sink as run water. They will dissolve and they are environmentally friendly. Will save yourself the space in your garbage as well...

I had some fun with them in the sink but they started gooing up so I just tossed them in the trash. As annoying as they are, I'll tank a dump truck full of peanuts over a damaged product any day!

Found this cant do a proper quote

Heres the insructions for conduit build. The conduit is cool cause you can hide the cords haha. Not all mounts without canopies have to be ugly, you just have to do it right. That being said I used right angle brackets and it could definitely look better... anyway the lcd swing arms are probably gunna look the best, or a shelf would look nice.
