Pelagic Magic

Has anyone done this dive from Kona? It's done by Jack's diving company. Just curious if anyone has any feedback. We're going next week and might want to squeeze it in while we're there.

I've done it. It gets crowded, with numerous dive boats in close proximity. It was fairly interesting, but I got a little bored towards the end. It was a good one time experience, but I probably wouldn't do it again. I do love Kona and the Big Island!

Thanks! That was our experience with the manta night dive.

I didn't realize anyone but Jack's was doing the pelagic magic. Who did you do it with?

Just Googled it and realized it was a different dive! Sorry. I have dove blue water drift dives sever times, but not at night. I'm assuming you're comfortable with drift and night diving. My concern would be the other divers on the trip. Let us know if you do it. On the Big Island I mostly shore dove (solo). I dove a few times with Kona Diving Co. They were good.

We did a refresher recently, and the instructor told us about it. I think he said you're holding on to a line, so it's not technically a drift dive. We're already signed up for 10 dives with Kona Diving. (Love them.) So I don't know if we're going to try it on this trip.

Just thought if someone had some experience we might check it out. Will report back if we do.
