Penducters and SCWD's?

Can you use them together. Hoping to push about 1100gph through a 3/4 SCWD and have it come out two returns, each using a penducter.

It would allow me to go down to a single powerhead and use my second vortech on a new system.

Thoughts? Help? Anything I should know?

Thanks.

I think they only good up to 850 gph i think. Then you might have leaks and from what ive been reading alot of chattering.

Looks like I can run 1400 gph through the pipes, but the SCWD can only take 720gph in.

But, can I use the SCWD with a penducter on each end or will the back pressure ruin the SCWD or make it not switch over.

Thanks.

I ran 950 GPH through a 3/4" SQWD and penductors, it actually worked pretty good but not as effective as I wanted as the 950gph was a bit too much for the SQWID.

The problem was the SQWD switched about every 3.5 - 4 seconds. The 4 seconds was not enough time to get the full acceleration effect out of the penductors, so I switched to the 1" SQUD. But, my 950 GPH pump with the back pressure of the Penductors was not enough to drive the 1" SQWD. In retrospec, I should have decreased the flow from 950gph to something around 800. I have a video on youtube showing it, but can't get to it right now. if you want to see it, search SQWD psteeleb

I ran a scwd a few years back. I also ran about 950 gph through it. It worked great for about 6 months but after that point it would get clogged or stop switching and required an annoying amount of maintenance.
