penductors

I'm in the process of setting up a closed loop and wanted to get some penductors for a few of the outputs. I'm using 3/4" loc-line and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get penductors that will easily fit or are made to fit onto loc-line. I've found penductors on the internet, but I'm having trouble finding one that I know will be compatible without a lot of hassle.

Thanks for any help.

Male threaded 3/4" penductors will easily fit onto the CL you have if that helps at all. Otherwise you have to buy the threaded piece for the lockline to screw the penductors to.

I think that those will work by using a female-to-female loc-line piece, attaching a threaded loc-line onto the end, and then getting the 3/4" female penductor. Is this what others have done? My main issue is/was how to get the penductor securly attached to the loc-line and was just seeing how others have done it.

In my research on this I found the official website for loc-line (modularhose.com), which is significantly cheaper, has a better selection than most reef sites, and doesn't seem to have any kind of minimum shipping requirement.

I also found similar penductorsto those above for a little cheaper at aquariumspecialty.com. I'm not a total cheap-o, but even $20 seems a little bit steep for a piece of plastic.

Thanks for the reply Chris. I was posting as you were. I just wanted to have loc-line so that I could direct the flow. The part I needed that I did not easily find, is the female-to-female part... since all of the threaded parts have a male connector, you need that piece... unless I'm missing something.

PM Logan (logman17) billies. He's done what you are looking to do in his 90. He gave me the modularhose catalog. There is an adaptor that has a flow (npt) valve on it. Snaps onto the loc-line on one end, and has a 3/4 female on the outflow end, so you could just screw a male penductor into it. There is a male version of the outflow as well. Part number 61516 for the female.

We group ordered the penductors at one point from kth sales. I was happy with the ones we got. This thread will show ya exactly what logan did.

that $20 for "a piece a plastic" will amaze you. Really cheap way to maximize flow.
