Penn State University 500 Gallon Aquarium Pictures And Video

Wanted to share this with those who are interested to see this nice aquarium.

The tank with the anemone is sitting next to the big one and is a new setup. Is still cycling and they are getting ready to add angel fish to it.

I might be driving to Penn State again today in this heavy snow to check three fish..I was at Sanjay who lives close to Penn State last night and LFS will be open daytime and gotta go and check those fish. I'm a clownoholic. I will try to take some more pictures of few things I missed.

For some reason you would think they will eat them when they are inside. They don't like them in there and after a while they gave up I guess. Sorry did not get a chance to go and take some pictures. I had clownfish and it was so cold and did not want to let them in the car not even 5 minutes.

Clams do not have the ability to eat organisms larger than plankton. The clam would never even try to eat the fish.

I know that but it looks like it. I got a call from a costmer who was panicking and was worry that the clam will eat the fish someday.

In two month we will be doing after and before picture of some corals in there and putting the right pictures together now to do that.

Will be doing an hour video of the aquarium to play at REEFNEST Spring meeting. Will be doing this to at least two other schools and this way people will be able to see this at a big screen at the meeting. Not sure when is the best time to do that and I might have to arrange with PSU friends to have the glass clean that day.

I think a trip for an update is due in a week or two. Few corals have been moved around and I was interested to take pictures of before and after.

sorry to say but that huge clam is dead. Now we need an update of the aquarium.
