I would like to put an order in to reeftopia and was wondering if anyone would want to go in with me. here is what I am wanting to order. the more you order the cheaper "each" is

$20 worth of pepermint shrimp.
if order a total of 24 they are $2 each
$16- per 50 golden astrae snails small. would need someont to order 50 also as they are$32 per 100
$18 per 50 blue leg hermits $36 per 100
$15 for 2 royal grammas (7.50 each

also would like to order a lot of the nassarius vibex snails. 4got to write them down and am surfing on cell phone and don't want to retype a that...lol

would split a lot of them though

maybe a green or orange ric. not sure. might also add an eyelash blenny but want to search on them 1st

anyone?

thanks
sean

probably wait till after thanksgiving. maybe for delivery on the 7th?

I wouldn't mind a pair of royal grammas and maybe some shrimp and some snails...

also getting in time to bring to fraging workshop would be better for me...just cause I live out in the sticks...gas to meet Cleveland way would be almost as much as paying for shipping myself...

well I just blew $100 on some corals so kinda need to replenish my funds....
i'll see what I can come up with.

probably won't make december meeting if the schedule for christmas is correct for work. will end up working that friday (21st)

I need a dozen each of the snails and 2 or 3 pep shrimps. Please let me know because I have been waiting for a deal like this especially for the cleaning crew. If you PM me I'll get you my phone#, Thanks.

I think I would like a mixture of each of the critters, a shrimp and maybe a royal g. too.
Let me know when you narrow things down.

I called reeftopia today and she said she would send me info on doing a group buy. I think they might divide the orders up so we wouldn't have to. will post more when I know

if we can plan this for Friday the 7th of December

I will bring the orders to aquarium adventure at 7pm. then hopefully by 7:30 I can be gone and will deliver Gregs order to him if he wants. if anyone would like to pick theirs up before I leave can swing by my place anytime on Friday.

I live in Barberton which is west of akron off of I-76

wouldn't mind splitting some of the nassarius vibex with someone.
will wait and see how the group order works thru them and if its better to do just 1 large order we will. whatever works out better in the end.

if you order over $200 you get an additional 10percent off. I think we would be well past that.

Sign me up for 5-6 nassarius in addition to the above. I can meet at Aquarium expenditure, it's right around the corner. LMK...thanks much

here is the reply from reeftopia.

We are happy to work with group orders. As far as discounts go we offer the lot price page items and we offer the 10% discount on orders placed online that are over $200.00.
We ask you to online orders because of the accuracy of the order, credit card #s, shipping, and billing information. Please have order in the day before the order is set to go out.

We also don't encourage orders over $500.00 for the sake of the person distributing. It can get confusing and if the order becomes too large you will find that you have taken orders from people you do not know very well and things like collecting payment and waiting for people to pick up their critters can make things frustrating.
For the Reeftopia guarantee to apply we need to know that the critters will stay packed in their individual plastic bags, be picked upno later thanearly evening and only go through one acclimation.

All items can be packed in quantities according to each persons order with the amount written on each bag but not the persons name. We prefer to split into quantities ordered for the well being of the critters. The critters can wait for acclimation until early evening as long as they have been kept in a dark, cool temperature control area without being opened. Waiting is better than going though an additional acclimation.
When you order online there is a comment area at the very end of the check out process, there you can give us comments & additional information like the bag splits. An example of how to write them so it is clear to us would be;
Astrae snails....50-50-50-75-12-12-24-27 = 300
Peppermint Shrimp...6-6-4-8 = 24
Make sure the count matches the total ordered.

Please make sure that everyone that is participating in the group order can pick up on the evening of the arrival of the shipment. Earlier in the day is better but that evening is the latest everything can be distributed for our guarantee to apply.

if you would like to pm me with what you are interested in I can try to keep running totals. that way we will know if we are getting close to a better discount... ie. 300 snails@.xx per snail etc

see delivery info above. I drive 2500 miles a week so what's a few more. lmk

crazyseany, Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Not and easy thing to coordinate. Any word on when we will make the move? Thanks,

Just another thought. Tropical Aquarium in Brunswik (new LFS-see thread about it on c-sea page) will order just about anything you want, and if we bring this order up to him, he may be willing to go for it. Hector has ordered many things in the past for me, and then when it gets there he will hold it for you until it is eating properly. I'm sure he could use the business, after all, if we want to have great LFS's in our area we should support the people who can offer to us the kind of area retailers we want. I can call him and check if you want. Not meaning to hijak the thread but it just hit me that local support might be the way to go. If not no sweat, just and idea. LMK, thanks,

I gto TA all the time. just not sure if any of the local stores can sell BL hermits or astrae for 30 cents.

also the royal gramas for $7.50
and pep shrimp for 2 bucks each.

I think the fact that they collect them is why the good price.
