Peppermint Angel fish

Beautiful. John Coppolino talked about this fish several years ago at one of our meetings.

Nice. There are probably more than we think, but who dives 300-400 feet to get them?

Wonder if he would trade for my black and white damsel. He has stripes also.

That is a very rare fish worth a trip to Orlando to go see it, as far as I know there is only a handful of people in the world that owns them and most are in Japan and Europe, this may very well be the only specimen in the continental USA.
Congratulations and Thank you to the people at living reef for getting this fish and make it available to see it in person, I will be planning a quick drive to see this fish.

Gotta wonder what it must be like to go down 300-400 feet. I can't imagine the pressure. How do they have enough air. Do they dive that or go by sub. Very interesting. I'm not a diver but it's very interesting how they do it.

They dive. If on open circuit (aka your typical set up), with several tanks and special gas mixes. More often at those depths, on rebreathers with some tanks of special mixes.
