As many of you already know, the Waikiki Aquarium recently acquired a Peppermint Angel. Coincidentally, my family and I are vacationing here this week and got a chance to check this gem out. Considering the lengths to which people have gone to acquire this fish, it was a true honor to be able to see it live in person. That, and the fact that this was one of the first fish I "fell in love with" when I began my reefing journey almost 10 years ago made this an extra special trip. Of course, my wife and daughter had no idea why I was so excited about this fish, especially since it was in a pretty drab tank. Enjoy the pics but sorry about the quality. They were taken from my iPhone camera and apparently the Peppermint has been in hiding ever since being introduced to the tank.
