Peppermint Hog Picky eater!!!

Anybody have a peppermint hog??? Mine is a couple days into my tank not eating well yet any suggestions on what to feed, or how to ellicit a feeding response??? Any feedback would be appreciated!!!!

what are you feeding now. ive never had a problem getting mine to eat mysis. just keeping them in the tank

I am feeding mysis shrimp, angel formula diet which has brine, sponge and other meaty treats, and Prime reef which is from ocean nutrition which is a mixture of many different seafoods. He has only been in the tank 2 days very, very shy..... hoping he turns around soon he is such a cool fish!!!

At first my only ate mysis. Wouldn't eat Ocean Nutrition gel, no flakes or pellets only mysis. Now, about a month later, he eats everything. Voracious eater. Even grabs some of my veggie flakes (probably spits them out).

Mine eats everything even a hermit every now and then. Try some garlic or selcon.

You know, I started with a bunch of mini hermits. They're all GONE. There are two large red legged hermits left. Do you think it was the Hog? (What a hog, lol). I also have a Falco Hawkfish, great personality. Always come to the front of the tank to greet you. He may have done in the hermits. I don't know. I try again, but I sticking with snails for now.

Day number 3 still hiding in the rocks... never seen when the light are on, have not seen him feed yet, saw him a little later looks ok, no belly emaciation or anything..... hoping he will begin eating soon, I love that fish!
