Peppermint meater-eater?

Well, recently I added a mushroom frag in a cup to get it attachted to a rock. Last night just before bed, I noticed my peppermint in the cup and today, the shroom is gone. Did the peppermint eat the mushroom or just knock it into the stream and it's somewhere in the tank? There's also a polyp frag that was introduced as well on "his" side of the tank that also MIA.

well did you just glue the shroom prior to adding it to the tank? Shroom secreet a lot of slim and end up comming of the glue no matter how much glue you put. and end up getting swept by the current to somewhere else in the tank.. mine are now in the back of the rocks and attached it self...

some peple have done the cage thing or toothpick trick...

No glue, just rested it on top of a rock in the cup. I had it up top on my Xenia rock and it started to spread out and really open up, so I moved it into a plastic cup with a rock so it attatch on it's own. Then the peppermint decided to investigate last night. I found the polyps though.
