It's been an odd 24 hours. First the mega-bristleworm got stuck on the return pump---I rescued it before the pump could serve bristleworm soup to the tank, returned it to safety, and the two largest peppermint shrimp nabbed it and ran off with it into the back. Then this morning one of said bandits ran up to the front and leapt on the unoffending pocillopora birdsnest, danced about, grabbed something white, minuscule and round, didn't eat it, and ran off. This evening it did the same thing, with the same result. The poci is annoyed, but came out vigorously after and the shrimp went back to hanging upside down in its usual post. If it's grabbing baby aiptasia, I forgive it, but that shrimp is a little worrisome.
