Had a peppermint shrimp to take care of an aiptasia problem, which he did in about 8 hours, everything was fine with him.
Recently went on holiday for two weeks the first week the tank wasnt fed but he left all of my zoanthids and clove polyps alone, he got fed a week later a small amount of food and when i returned the tank was back to normal.
A week later i purchased a torch coral, peppermint was full up on all the food he had found so he wasnt starving but as soon as i put the torch in he went crazy and tried to attack, he pulled one of the tips off before i could blast him with the turkey baster.
Long story short he wouldent stop so i had to take ALL of my live rock out because the bottle trick wasnt working and finaly caught him once the tank was empty,he now is in sump jail and will be returned to my lfs.
I have currently got two clowns a few zoas and a torch coral in the tank, i wanted advice on the most reef safe shrimp that doesnt eat or rip at corals, thanks guys!
