Peppermint Shrimp Attacking BubbleTip Anemone

Hey all, I was hoping to get some information on something I've searched around for and have never seen. I have been slowly building up my 90g reef tank and has been home to 2 peppermint shrimp. I recently added a Rose BTA which almost immediately one of the shrimp started to bother and clean. Upon further inspection, it would seem it's actually eating or at least tearing it apart :angryfire:. It has been happening on and off for 3 days. When I see the anemone getting injured, I cover it with a mesh box to keep the shrimp away. Just when I think the shrimp will lose interest, it comes back. I am attaching a video as I think it might be useful for people to study. Any thoughts?

Are you feed your shrimp enough? The only thing I've heard that peppermint shrimp eat are aiptasia or glass anemones. Worst comes to worst I would move the anemone

I had the same thing. Beautiful Rbta. Evicted the shrimp. He was attacking two anemone of mine. Both closed up for about a week. Once the shrimp, cool as he was, was gone, anemone back to normal. Gotta send him packing.

Thanks all... I have been keeping it under the protection of a mesh dome and it seems to be doing better again. I think I will pull the shrimp out for the moment and hopefully, if I can get the clownfish to host it, the clown will defend against future attacks. I'll try and post a picture later.
Also, how much should I be feeding the shrimp? And what foods are going to be the best?

I just pulled out my peppermint shrimp I got about 5 days ago. I noticed my frogspawn had a head pulled in. This morning, the other heads were mostly gone and I could see the glowing in the shrimps mouth. The other one I had about 2 months never ate by coral.
