Peppermint shrimp Q

I bought a couple the other day, along with a tonga fighting conch, took my time acclimating them to thier new home, ( about an hour, to match salinity and pH) fed the tank to distract the other residents, to my delight they both ate immediatly, but here is the rub,......yesterday I woke up, did my usual inspection and head count, and found what looks like a molted carapace. Is this unheard of? will they molt right away in a new aquarium? I have not seen it since. I have kept many of these cool little guys in the past but have never experienced an immediate molting like that. Normal? or do you think I should hold funeral services?

I found it finally! whew! I kind of take it personal when I lose critters. I also noticed this is the wrong forum too, oops sorry!

and, you may have picked up the shrimp at the time it was needing to grow a bit larger and do it's molt. I've had it happen within a day or two myself.
