Peppermint shrimp, which is which or what's wrong

they are a secretive species that like to stay hidden for the most part unless you have fish that like to stay out in the open, lets them know its ok. When I first got them, they always stayed hidden, but as time progressed they started venturing out during the day. I believe they're nocturnal shrimp so you'll most likely see it at night with a flash light
