Peppermint Shrimp?

Can one have too many pepp shrimp? I am somewhat fond of them plus their propensity for aiptasia, so I would like to have a small "herd" in my 20L. I was thinking something along the lines of 5-6 would be tops. I would make sure they are kept fed, and since their are no fish in the tank--the bioload is nearly zero as is.

I would also like to keep a small "herd" of sexy shrimp in the same tank with the pepps. Would that be prudent, or am I looking at a royal rumble?

You would have no problem keeping 5-6 peppermint's in a 20l.:fun1: :love2: :inlove: :hmm4:  not sure about mixing with sexy's though?:D

I had 20 peps, 2 skunk cleaners, and 1 fire cleaner in my 30g for about 6 months til my heater cooked em. So you would be fine with that many in a 20 imo.

I actually like the pepps a bit more because they don't seem so agressive as some of the other shrimp in as far as stealing food from my coral, but they do have personality. Maybe I'll go for a number in the range of 10, since there really is no bioload to speak of--beside that of the snail and what little bit of feeding I do for my coral. Thanks folks.
