just picked up 3 peppermint shrimp yesterday. how long before I see my apistia get in check??

in the past i had one shrimp decimate the entire ap population in a 12g nano in one night, another took a week in a larger tank.

Some people report these shrimp eating apistia to be a crapshoot, good luck.

Mine immediately started eating the smaller ones, they leave the large one alone. I have found that if I "wound" one of the large ones, the peps will be on it shortly after the lights are out.

your best bet is not to feed the tank and see if they will eat the aptasia
