Perc behavior

I have a 75g that had one perc in it, today I picked up a second perc. There were 2 before but one died(months ago). Anyways, I noticed my older perc doing a funny "wiggle" around the new one. What was the old one doing ?

seems one is establishing dominance, this is a good thing. i think it may lead to pairing.

I always call it the submissive butt dance lol. Like RLeclerc said, it is a good thing as its a way of establishing dominance without fighting. It is a good sign if you have this going on when you introduced the new one as its a sign that they will pair up. Most clowns seem to know to do the butt dance to avoid an attack.

Yes its the dominance dance. Wait til you see them doing "the dance" the male will start twitching. It's funny as hell to watch.
