percula hosting yuma

So I have a 75-reef w/ 40-Br refugium, and there are multiple Rose bubble anemones along with 2 condys, one white and one purple. I have a clarkii clown, a maroon clown, and a percula clown. I just combined these tanks, and thought I would see how it would work, as I am well-aware that this sort of combination would usually result in the death of the percula and, after a fierce rivalry, the death of one of the other two, depending on size. (The percula and the maroon were in the 75 before I bought it, and the clarkii has been in the 40 since I set it up). However, things seem to be working out just fine, except for a couple of things:

1) Despite the presence of multiple roses, the maroon chooses to host the purple condylactis, which probably involved a painful acclimation, as clownfish don't naturally encounter condys, and thus, never inhabit them. My best guess at why this is happening is that the condys were in the 75 before i combined the 40 with my roses.

2) My percula has taken to my large blue yuma mushroom (about 7" in diameter) rather than either the roses or the condys. Could this be because the yuma is larger (the largest rose is probably no more than 4.5" in diameter)? Could the other two clowns be "part-time hosts" to the other anemones, and keeping the percula from hosting a natural house? Now, I know this isn't the first occurrence of this happening, as I've heard of it happening in the past, but I don't understand why he would prefer a mushroom to a natural habitat, which he has available. Any other theories would be appreciated!:D

Many a man (or women) has tried to understand the mind of a clownfish :P Nobody has yet succeeded.

The best way to figure out why your clownfish has picked a mushroom over an anemone is to ask it. If you get an answer, ask my B&Ws why they picked the corner of the tank over 2 Crispa's and 2 BTAs :P

Haha. I'll get back to you as soon as I get an official report from the percula. One more thing to add... I believe my percula is tank raised, but I am not sure.... that might be a factor.

The tank is currently 2 hours away, and I recently did a somersault on to my camera, but I'll do what I can!. Those two obstacles will be tough ones to get over though...
