Percula hosting

Hi all,

Looking to get a true perc pair and a host. Based on what i've read, the faq, etc. it seems like only the really large and really difficult anemones are true hosts to percs. will they accept others such as LTA's, sebae etc.? Or do they only go to the carpets?

My pair of percs were hosted by my LTA in less then a week from it being introduced to my tank.

Yes, percs will accept other anemone species. My percs host in my BTA. Started hosting about 3 days after the nem went in the tank. For a friend of mine it took 3 months for the percs to discover her BTA.

In an aquarium, they will often host in other species. But clowns aren't called clowns for nothing, and there are no guarantees

heck my false percs hosted my RBTA....wouldnt see why some true percs wouldnt then...took them a month or so
