percula? or ocellaris?

whats the easiest way to tell these apart? kinda new to clowns and I have some that came with a tank

Post a picture here. Percs, have a clear eye ring, but to tell you the truth I still have a difficult time telling them apart. And I have both. My percs are smaller also.

its tough. alot has to do with general body shape sometimes its easy with coloration other times its all about the eyes.

This method is the best but hardest way to ID them. The true perculas have 11 dorsal spines compared to the Ocellaris who have 10. Its just hard to get them still long enough to correctly count them. Also perculas have a thicker/darker black margin around the white bars.
