hey there. im at the end of my knowledge, please help!

my perc jumped 6 weeks ago, i rescued her. she had a small scratch on the gill. after a few weeks she got popeye on the side she touched the floor and an infection on the scratch. i waited, it did not get better, so i treated her with antibiotics (FURANOL) twice in a bath with a high dose. that did not show any effects.

for a week the disease has spread over her mouth and body, she cant eat anymore and gets random white bubbles, mainly where the dorsal fins begin. i took her out of the tank and into a seperate quarantine tank, where i treated her with a drug my LFS sold me which is supposed to kill fungi and bacteria (FUNGISTOP). it did not get better.

i dont know what to do as she refuses to eat as she cant really close her mouth. she has not eaten for a few days. how long will she make it without food, and do you have experience with similar diseases?

please also post treatment suggestions. i do not know wether it is a fungus or bacteria, she also has this white thing in her jaw not only on the back.

I would treat it for a bacteria since of popeye. Also treat it for ick. Your fish is stress and is he breathing heavy. How is the water you put him in. Did you use same water he jump out of. Do you know why he jump out of your tank. Was he in by himself or with other fishes. Check your water.

water had 2ppm nitrate, no phosphates, right salinity. was with other fishes, i suspect a hermit to have disturbed him at night.

i used the same water but did already a few water changes in the quarantine tank, so it should be ok.
