im new to this whole thing. i want to put 2 percula in my tank that has been running for about 2 months now. i have a 24 gallon aquapod with 25 pounds of live sand and 30 pounds of live rock. the main goal is a nice reef tank and 2 peculas. thats it. what type of anenome can i keep that will host these fish? i only have 68 watts of light so i think i am limited. if i cant have an anenome, then is there a coral that the clowns will play in or "host in"? any info would be great.

no matter what size tank, its a real good idea to wait at LEAST 6 months b4 getting an anemone.

Ive seen clowns host in LOTS of stuff. mushrooms, frogspawns, torches seem to be popular with them :)

my perc hosts in the mantle of my clam, doesnt seem to bother the clam anymore but I think my perc is retarded because theres a RBTA right next to the clam.

Let's go to the wilkerson book

She says - a saddle carpet, giant carpet, sebae, ritteri.

My percula pair hosted in my leather, frogspawn, and green tree kenya. Whatever they felt like that week.

As TOURKID says, you must wait and you don't need one, but looking at Saltybp's tank today with a mated, egg laying, pair of maroons in a BTA, Wow is it cool.
