Perhaps in the market for a new tank...?

Just figured I would throw this out there in case someone is thinking about selling/upgrading/getting out... We're likely to be in the market for a new tank in the near future. We've been tossing around the idea of combining the tanks to make our lives a LOT easier.

So with that said, we're looking for a RR 120 or bigger, hopefully with a stand and hood. Ideally, something bigger since we'll need the extra space or we'll have to sell off a bunch to be able to get everything into one tank.

I know there were a few tanks for sale in a thread earlier and I've touched base with some folks who are in the process of upgrading, but if anyone has something they're looking to sell or hears about something through the grapevine, do let us know please. TIA!

Hey Moriah! We just closed on some property and are about to break ground on a new home. It is going to have a in wall room divider tank so I hate to but will be selling my 270. I need a tank with overflows on the sides now. I was bummed out when the blueprints arrived and the tank is only going to be able to be 6 feet long. I was hoping for the 8-10 foot range for the tangs and the wall looked much longer on the tiny drawings. I doubt Cory will let me close in a door just to make the tank bigger ;).

Not sure how long out you guys wanted to wait but we plan on being moved in by next August so the kids can go to the right school. Wish I could keep it for a FOWLR but the neighbors would start calling me fish lady with that much water I am sure. The sale naturally would be contingent upon us not totally blowing the house number and having the $$ for a new tank that is. Just thought I would throw it out that I will be selling mine in the future. I just hate to sell the stand and canopy dad made is the hard part.

I heard from Shawn @ the Bay that you were considering selling your 270... :)

Congrats on the new land/house! I hope all goes well and you're able to make one heck of a build thread. :)

Yea, I am gonna have to sell but not get out. I don'think one house could house 2 big tanks without being a little overkill! Yea, I was at Ebay getting my by monthly 400 gallons of salt mix! I am always out of salt it seems!

Your wife would kill you! You are as bad as me!! You guys moving soon also?

I was so bummed the new tank couldn't be bigger! Its hard to think of "downsizing"
