Perry's AIO 50 cube

Nice Perry! Looking forward to the inevitable acro bush!!

Hi Matt,
Cindy is learning, perhaps too much about reefkeeping, she has noticed my buying trends as of late, and is getting nervous of an eventual sps takeover, LOL... I have to admit, I have sort of been an acro junkie lately, but fortunately, I am running out of space, so I have to be picky on what goes into the tank moving forward :) Thanks Matt!!!

You can always take out the duds and replace them with ‘potentials’
It never stops, I though you knew that by now, Perry.

Yeah Matt,
I totally get you :)
On a positive note, I was able to push my sps collection to 20 corals total, as far as sps goes. I scored from a local friend of mine some killer frags today. Including, Hyperberry, Hawkins, SC OP, Exquista, Frogskin, Pearlberry, PC Rainbow, and a few others. For non SPS, scored a Red Devil shroom last week too. My collection is up to around 50 corals, maybe more in this tank. I see another tank on the horizon, as I know I will want one tank for my softies and lps, and likely another stick only tank. Oh the hobby can just suck you right in, like tractor beams.....lol :)

Hey Mark and Matt,
Still a young tank, and very much a work in progress, but have some corals showing nice colors. Will try and get some better sps pics this upcoming weekend. Thanks Guys!

Nice update and pics!

Thanks Bubba! Things still moving along, my work schedule has been brutal, so I have not had much time with the tank this week. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend :)

Top stuff Perry! Coming along nicely mate :)

Hi Dom, thanks for stopping in on the journal. This system grows on me more and more every day. I love the acros, but have really developed a love for mushroom corals and palys. I truly want to display a diverse mixed reef, where all corals are thriving, tricky, but fun :) Hope all is well mate!

Things look really nice buddy:beer:
Love the aquascape:inlove:
Will you add more corals or you're done?

Long time my good friend, you decided to emerge from the shadow as I have, lol :) I love the SPS platform and all my buds world wide, miss the days of all our rampant posts. Common guys, Biggles, where you at man, let's just use Flickr, I actually like it better than that other crap site. I hope you are well in beautiful Greece! Cheers Mate!

So true buddy! Miss those days too but what can you do,life gets always in the way:)
At least the love for our hobby is the same and for me that's the most important part:beer:

Mike, agreed 100%

A few sps photos from today. Colors looking ok, some fantastic, some drab, as it goes in the sps world, lol. All in all, I believe that the system is running well, sps starting to encrust, also noticing growth at tips, great news, will start balling with AF soon, as water changes have sufficed so far. Cheers

Love it man, that's a great vid:thumbsup:
Can't wait to see all that space taken over by these corals.
You could throw some music in there next time:p:p

Hey buddy, decided to throw a bit of music in the video, it makes it more worth watching, lol. Thanks for the kind words!

Throughly enjoyed the video! The colors on your rock anemone look pretty spectacular.

Thank You!
That rock nem has been with me the longest of all corals/inverts. I have had this for over a year, funny thing is when I re-scaped, the positioning of the rock put it dead center of the display, it never moved... It is without a doubt one of the first pieces that catches visitors eye, that and the torch. I tried to really think things through on positioning, my upper deck is only acros, the lower deck is mixed. I will eventually move the torch, I think it will out grow this spot, but have an idea of where I will place. Once that is complete, I will put a few more acros in it's place. Some sps are looking sweet, some drab, I have found that the ones doing the best are aquacultured. The ones not so well came in as mari-cultures and were fragged. This is why I wanted this challenge, to create colorful corals, despite their requirements, only time will tell :) Cheers

Update:
I have added a couple more fish to the system, always looking for unique small/nano size fish. I acquired a Meyer's Dragonette, and a Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish. Here is my updated fish list:
* Pair of True Perc's
* ORA Black Cardinal
* High Fin Goby
* Yasha Goby/ Paired with Tiger Pistol
* Geometric Pygmy Hawkfish
* Meyer's Dragonette

I also decided to inventory the tank, I could have identified more corals, but wanted to have a list documented, no better place than your journal :)
