Well, I'm still awhile from my upgrade but I like to research and decide with the kids, etc... before I buy so I don't impulse buy.

Here are some of the fish we like. What are your experiences. I will be keeping rics/zoos/lps/sps/clams so I don't want things to be picked on. I don't want any larger fish. Just a few smaller fish.

1.Flame Angel
2.Tricolor Anthias
3.Pajama Cardinalfish
4.Blue Spot Jawfish
5.Clown Fairy Wrasse
6.Clown Trigger (just seeing how many people are paying attention) I know, I know…Just my FAVORITE fish- Hands down!
7. 2- Mandarins (Already decided- will be last fish added)
8.Foxface Lo (Already decided-last one ate a couple hundred dollars worth of yuma's mouths and died. Turned out to be a very expensive foxface)

Anthias are very very hard to keep.

I am not sure you can support 2 Mandarins in a 75...they hunt constantly. I only have one in my 125 and he keeps the pods down a lot.

This will be in a 120...I guess I didn't think about that. I thought roy had two in his 70 gallon but I forgot that he has like 900 gallons total volume :D

Yeah...I want a mate for my male but I worry about starving them. Mine is fat and happy and I don't want that to change.

i have these fish in my tank with softies and they all do well together,
pink spotted goby, cleaner wrasse, six line wrasse, freshwater flounder, sailfin blenny, flame angel, sailfin tang, yellow tang, gold striped maroon clown, percula clown( i think), dragon goby, male and female mollies. None are coral munchers flame angel does great eating algae from live rock.

I have sps and a clam with a flame and coral beauty....I've never seen the flame do anything, the coral beauty will pick on the rock and a few snails but never the corals......

Flame is 50/50 with SPS and clams, tri color anthias is a deep water fish and doesn't do well in a very high light tank. I wouldn't try two mandarins in a 120g.

I had a flame angel never touched my corals or clam but went after my wifes favorite fish back to the store. I had a lemonpeel who nipped just about everything, corals, fish, clam, etc.
