pest snails/looking for ID

I'm getting a bunch of these. I found some info awhile back, but can't seem to find it again.They were listed as a type of snail. Looking for an ID and/or how to get rid of them.

Looks like a hard tube worm to me by the pic. Harmless.

And not so harmless.

Not only do they start reproducing rapidly and get into the nooks and crannies of things like Caulestrea (sp?), their 'fishing lines' can cause some irritation to other corals. Also, be careful when reaching into the tank as scrapes and scratches from these guys get infected really easily.
