pestacides in apartments?

Has anyone else ever had a problem with workers spraying pestacides in their apartments?

I live in Foxridge, near Dave, and they came and sprayed March 31, a couple days later I noticed my shrimp and hermits are most likely dead (havent been seen for several days, and have seen a couple corpses).

I've tested all my parameters and they are all normal, and I have good water quality.

I know they sprayed once before, and I just put a large blanket over the entire tank. But I guess its possible if the guy sprayed close enough to the sump it could have gotten in there.

Everything else seems fine (fish, snails, corals such as sps, softies etc.). The only other thing that might seem a little ****ed off is the frogspawn and hammer have been sliming up alot lately, and have looked sluggish.

I just thought that it might be something to do with the pestacide, since I remember whatever is used to treat the red bugs on sps does the same thing to inverts with an exoskeletons.

I just always leave a note not to spray in my apartment. I haven't had a problem yet. I don't have any insight to offer about your inverts though, hope everything turns out okay.

Well depends on where your tank is. I live here too and never had a problems. One thing they said was that they spray mainly in the kitchen and living room. Also said to turn off air pumps. The dont spray bedrooms. That is all I can tell you.

Thanks for the advice. One of my hermit crabs finally reappeared, so I'm hoping they are just in hiding, but I'll probably do a water change tomorrow just incase.
