Petco 20G Long AIO build

Quick question Rob why not just use weld on to join the acrylic panel? Saves a couple steps. Looks good though.

Funny I did ask one of the workers at Tap, if I can use Weld, and I told him it was for a fish tank.. He quickly said no, I guess it's for liability issues. Silicone is holding up pretty well.

Looks awesome. Update us to see how it works out. I also know acrylic doesn't do well with sticking to glass but the way you have it might be different.

I asked Wills612 where he got his 20G Long AIO build from and he directed me to Badfish reef systems online, after further research online, I have read he is no longer in business. So I decided to take measurements and do it myself. And also do a tutorial if someone else wants to build one. Makes a great mini peninsula or frag tank.

Things needed...
20G Long from Petco $20
Acrylic cuts from Tap Plastics $28, measurements and details below.
Dap Silicone aquarium safe $3.99
Super Gel Glue $3.99

Silicone and Super Glue
<a href="http://s576.photobucket.com/user/booman_13/media/20G%20Long%20AIO%20Build/IMG_4979.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss202/booman_13/20G%20Long%20AIO%20Build/IMG_4979.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_4979.jpg"/></a>

Use a straight edge ruler to align the baffles and initially use the super glue to lay in place, will be a lot easier when you apply the silicone so they wont move around

Almost ready for my frags [emoji1]

Hey robert i dont mean to be a lazy bum but it seems you have this thing down packed and your inserts look pretty good. Would you be interested in making a couple bucks if i paid you for materials shipping and labor to get some inserts cut? I made the mistake of placing an order with badfishreef and have been looking for kits all over the web. Please let me know if youre interested in helping a fellow reef keeper. Dm me anytime.

Thanks again
Anthony
