Petco?

I was wondering how the Petco in Farragut is for saltwater fish? I know alot of people talk really bad about Petco in general, but I am sure it is a store by store basis. Is it worth an hour and a half drive to check out? I am looking for a green banded goby, if anyone see's one locally let me know.

I think Aquatic Marine in North Knoxville has one in stock. I've never been to a Petco that is worth buying any sort of Livestock. There are two other localy owned aquarium stores in knoxville, The Coral Reef and Aqaurium Connection. Both are within a couple of miles from each other.

PETCO in farragut... No , not unless u wanna take a chance with your tank. I like the people there, but I only go there for my dog, and cat. lol
but as a fyi, there is a customer appreciation sale at the aquarium, this friday and saturday. I know from the VIP thing. But yes aquatic marine is a great place , and coral reef is also. But , I cant recall either of them having the goby you are looking for. If i were u , I would go to liveaquaria.com but make sure u need more other things to get to save, cause of shipping. like me, I am picky on my t5 bulbs, and I love ATI , but no one carries them here local, I have tried the Giesemann's ,and they would be a 2nd choice. But like that stuff wold be Bulkreefsupply.com ..... I believe in supporting the LFS, but sometimes in this hobby , ya have to go elsewhere.

FWIW, If you see a healthy-looking fish at petco that you want, get it. If you QT your fish properly before they go into the DT, then you won't have any pests/ diseases from said fish transferred to the DT. You can get diseases/pests from anywhere, and it's not the fish stores' fault.
