In this case your right, If I had a more controled QT or was able to stay on top of it, hard to say:
Actual AEFW deaths = 0, damage 4 (tricolor, 2 prostratas, unk acro)
Actual QT deaths = 4 (and counting), severe damage 2
I still want to get rid of the buggers. :mad2:
I think the most important lesson I'm dealing with is keeping acro's easily removable. That's why I'm going to do some more pegging. I had some but I also wedged SPS to encrust or epoxied down plugs in areas I didn't drill holes

I think the colors (fish and corals) are just unreal myself and is a big part of what keeps my drawn in to this hobby.

i agree that pegging will give you the easiest opportunity to remove corals when needed, but wont that only last for so long? judging by the size of "the factory", any peg would have been buried under a 5" diameter coral stalk! your probably going to need to pay close attention to the base of each coral to make sure they dont overgrow the pegs.

picked up some new additions today; a pair of femail lyretails to add to the harum and a pair of golden wrasses (yellow coris) to create more havic on AEFW

Thanks --- They bagged them all together - the place was packed. They were all in the same tank but I now wish I asked to keep them separately.
The store was having their annual anniversary sale, great prices on the fish and corals. I had to resist picking up some new corals, the one I would have liked to pick up; SERVO snatched first (I'll just work a frag out of him later - haha)
I also picked up a lettuce nudi and a baby regal tang for my 29g to help on the green hair algae.

yes - unless they become fat lazy pigs like mine
my anthias love them but they wont pick them off the corals so you can't really count them
most wrasse will but the Halichoeres family seem to do best from what I read. I'm heading back to the store to pick up a Christmas Wrasse - It had burried it self earlier, so they couldn't find it when I was there, but htey just called me and are holding it. It will probaly cost more in gas then the fish (but he has free bar-b-que)
There are several in the Halichoeres family the Yellow and Christmas are just two of the more common ones. I think the Christmas ones are a bit tougher to get to eat though so I hope he does okay once I get him in the tank.

thanks - the two new yellows went and burried themselves so I don't know how there are doing.
I go home with the christmas wrasse, and my 6 line was giving him greif when he was still in the bag so I acclimated him in the sump. I'll have to make a decision what fish to keep as I don't think they want to be friends
