I disagree with the 29 gallon not being a nano tank.

JBJ's 28 gallon is listed as a nano, and Oceanic's 29 gallon is listed as a nano.

In fact I thought that red seas 34 gallon self contained set up was actually listed as a nano too, but I am not sure.

Those are all what I would call a cube. I meant that mine was not a nano as it is a 29g long with a 10g sump and a 20g fuge. Ahh, if only Mike was around to set us all straight.;)

Wow here's a perfect example of how we're drifting off-topic (YEAH this is the thread police here)... :D

See new post...

Thanks, Chris

To hopefully get us back on topic... Sort of.....

I had a really good experience with Reef Connections the past couple times I've been into their new store. They've been really helpful in helping me with some of the questions I have regarding livestock and different ways I can set things up. I noticed today that they also got in a ton of new fish and some new corals too so hopefully they got some cool new ones....

Just figured I would share my good experience with them as I feel those are more beneficial than any small problems you could have otherwise.

Thanks Matt. Yes, I shop Reef Connections too (closest to my home) and found the same service. Their new store is in a more central location and right off the Mangrove and 5th. Perfect size store in this size town. I heard today they were expecting a shipment so I too look forward to seeing what's there. I know he has/had two pieces of the metallic green hammer/anchor coral!!! :D

Thanks for sharing the good experiences. Random Acts of Kindness.... ? I find personally that if a store has bad service... sooner or later people find out and make their own choice. But if you've really been wronged, please seek the source before venting here. Ok, that's like four cents worth now. I'm done.

Twisted: You know when you've been caught! I may not edit but you all know you've been bad. I'm even guilty myself. But lets turn a new page. ;)

Ahhh the hammers are what I will want to take over my tank... I just love their color.... haha! I feel like a kid in the candy store in there!

where's petworks at?

You know where we meet at Round Table in the Almond Orchard Shopping Center? Go about 3 or 4 shops to the left of the front door - you're there.

Petco got brought up earlier and I thought I'd throw this in. If you are looking for something at Petco ask to speak to Steve. He probably knows the most there. He has had many reef tanks and is usually trying to keep up with the hobby. I know this because he was my roommate for 3 years. He usually works Sat. eves. and Mon. nights.

Thanks saltkelly,

I'd more or less written that (PetCo) LFS off. But it's nice to know there is someone with knowledge working there. I think I may have run into him in the past. But most the time I went in there, no one knew much about their livestock.

I don't know why either but when I originally started my first reply to this post I was thinking about PetCo at first too until I was re-reading the post to verify some information. Funny, how somethings can make us all think a certain way.
