PFO HQI Ballasts

Hello all,

I am seeking some information surrounding the PFO ballasts product.

I currently have a PFO 400w HQI dual ballast. Can this ballast be used to power two of the new 400w DE pendants. If so, is there any feedback surrounding the quality of this new product and whether there is much value in switching from the SE to the DE's. Thanks.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your inquiry. As long as it is the "HQI" ballast, it will work. We have actually being testing the 400W PFO 20,000K DE pendant and bulb and have been very impressed by it. You will probably notice a slight increase in output going from the SE to the DE: however, we have not seen any actually numbers published.

4.3 amps with Ushio 10k. This can vary slightly with a different bulb. HTH

The maximum amp draw for the 400 hqi is 5.2 amps. You can also find this information through PFO's website at http://www.pfolighting.com/AqWiringDiagram.aspx.

Is PF2677 the right part number for the pendant that goes with the PFO HQI 400w ballast? I already have the PFO HQI ballast, would I need any extra cabling if I got that pendant?
