Pfo Hqi Mini Pendents On 75 Gallon

I am considering purchasing two PFO HQI mini pendent fixtures for my 75 gallon tank and going with either 14k or 20k bulbs. I was wondering 1. if the PFO fixtures were good fixtures and 2. If the 14k bulbs would give me sufficient growth and a vibrant blue spectrum of light. All help would be appreciated on this subject.

In my experience, the 14k will give you the best color if you don't plan on supplementing with other bulbs. Of course, different color temps can vary significantly across different manufacturers, but it's also important to note that the amount of usable light should be greater from the 14k bulbs.
